Resources Concerning Relationships
Relationships are, in many ways, the backbone of our existence as human beings. It
is through our relationships with others that we first learn about the world around us, that we
continue to expand our knowledge and understanding of that world, and that we use in many ways
to help us learn about ourselves. Good relationships are a tremendous blessing to us. Bad relationships can
scar us horribly, and without proper healing, can continue to harm us for decades after the bad
relationship itself has actually ended.
We here at Cattails Publishing want to help. We want to help you build the best relationships possible, avoid the bad ones,
and -- if need be -- help you heal from those bad relationships. Below are some resources to help you toward that end:
e-books The Hero's Guide and The Hero's Workbook to Protection Against Harmful Relationships
by Beth E Peterson. This 50 page e-book outlines the six steps you need to take in order to protect yourself from
falling into harmful relationships. The companion workbook helps you put those six steps into practice. Once you understand how to protect yourself, you can also teach these valuable
skills to those you care about -- especially your children.
free vZine The "Heroes at Large" vZine's purpose is to help you live as fulfilled a life as
possible socially, as well as psychologically and emotionally.

free brochure Are You In an Abusive Relationship:
It can be hard to know if you are in an abusive relationship.... Manipulative abusers convince their
victims that they, the recipient of the abuse, is the one who is to blame. Manipulative abusers
can use very convincing arguments as to why they are not responsible for the pain and torture present
in the relationship. Abuse of all forms, but especially mental and emotional abuse, is hard to nail down.
This brochure helps clarify what is happening in your relationship, so you can know.
free brochure Are You In a Cult: How can you know if a
group you belong to is cultic? Destructive cults and extremist groups are not about to identify themselves
that way. Many such groups aren't even based on religious ideology. So how do you know if you are
involved with one? This questionnaire will help guide you to an understanding of whether the situation
you have found yourself in is cultic in nature.
free brochure The Sixteen Types of Cults: As mentioned
above, religious cults are only one form of cult-type groups. These highly destructive groups can
be focused all sorts of ideas, from saving the world to getting rich. This brochure outlines the sixteen
most prevalent types of destructive groups, plus the twelve subdivisions just in the area of religion.
